FoMSP Committee Meeting – 5/27/08

June 7^th Community Picnic  12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

11:00 am set up – Kevin Ziegler (11-12), Cindy Lane, Ryan Lane, Mary Boyle (11-12), Eric Coponen (Bring guitar amp), Al will drop off ramps.

June 21^st Skate Day / Competition  10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

  8:30 am set up – Mary Boyle (8:30 – Noon), Cindy Lane, Ryan Lane, Kevin Ziegler, Andy Lynch to bring ramps.

Greg, Jake, Grant & Alex are working on the competition

Water and Jones Soda are needed for both events.

New Business: 

Ric to meet with Parks and Rec committee regarding grant writing.

Mary to get in touch with architect to discuss schematics of the Rain garden in the skate park renderings.

Al & Lori are heading up the Texas Hold-um tournament.   Looking to hold it on  a Saturday night between September and November; need firm date(s).  Also need to confirm the location.  Possibilities include the American Legion Hall in Milford and Sharks Lounge in Waterford.

A suggestion was also made to submit a Letter to the Editor of the Milford Times in an effort to recruit volunteers.
