FoMSP Committee Meeting 5/13/08

Old Business:

May 17 Skate Day – Volunteers (Greg, Al, Ryan, Kyle, Lori and Cindy).  Cindy will pick up sound system from DPW on Friday to return it on Monday.  Need to find out if Andy will be bringing tent and barricades.  All totes need to be picked up from Mary’s house.  If anyone else can volunteer please contact Greg.

June 7 Skate Day / Community Picnic – If anyone wants to volunteer for this event, contact Greg or Ric.

June 21 National Go Skateboarding Day – The idea of Bouncers was discussed and a vote was postponed until the May 27 meeting.  Rules for competition need to be drafted and well as finding judges & MC.  Discussed combining open skate with competition which was an accepted idea.  Also discussed the possibility of setting up on Friday night.  Greg is working on posters for the event.  Prizes for competition to be discussed at a later date.

  VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED.  PLEASE CONTACT RIC MUELLER IF YOU CAN HELP.

Fundraisers –  Texas Hold-em – Al is checking with his contacts as to if someone can run the event for us.

June 7 – Central Part Lower Parking Lot (Community Picnic)

June 21 – Bob Saks @ Milford Road & Pontiac Trial (National Go Skateboarding Day)

August 8-10 – Location not yet determined (Milford Memories)

September 20 – Car Show

October 4 – Central Park (Community Picnic)
