FoMSP Committee Meeting 2/12/07

Old Business:

Youth Business:

• Youth to continue to meet at Monday meetings – no youth portion during meeting unless they want to meet separately.

Bottled Water:

• 31 cases left – Ric to send mass email asking people to buy it up.

Giant Raffle:

• Keep selling tickets

• Ric to check with a couple local businesses to see if we can sell tickets there

• Lori/Ric to check with Meijer and see if they would let us set up a table and sell tickets to customers walking in.

• Greg will come up with a raffle flyer and email it to everyone. Print your own and post them somewhere.

Corporate Donations:

• Kaboom.org – Greg register there and start checking the forums.

• Per Sarah at Kaboom – no 2007 funds for skate parks – all going to playscapes.

Design/Construction:

• Ric talked to a pool guy about concrete – needs more info before he can give any ideas.

• Ric talking to numerous cement companies – Greg needs to contact Mo Shorr in regards to Milford RediMix.

Fundraisers

• Angie still trying to get in touch with Joell w/Milford Memories about booth space

• Guinness Book of World Records – need ideas – think about Greg’s head shave idea – Greg to look into details

• Sparkies – maybe get another date set up with them?

• Need sponsors for May Spaghetti Dinner – Milford Bakery? Stucchis?

• Al Zoller had idea about summer “picnic” Hog Roast on his property –to discuss further.

Miscellaneous:

• Lori to check with Credit Card company to get monthly processing fees removed from account – should only be charged $10 monthly for account.

• Greg to send Mary appreciation certificate for the Belz/Barnette donation.
